Bill (Pearl Mackie) finds a new place to live in the upcoming episode of "Doctor Who" season 10.

Titled "Knock Knock," this week's episode will explore the mystery surrounding the strange house Bill is planning to move in. According to spoiler reports, the latest adventure of Bill and the Twelfth Time Lord (Peter Capaldi) takes them to a creepy old house. Bill considers moving into a new place, but the Doctor is a bit concerned.

The official synopsis notes that Bill is moving in with some of her friends and they believe that they have found the perfect home. The Landlord is quite creepy but it is cheap to rent, so they take it. The Doctor, however, thinks there is something very wrong with the house.

The floorboards creak and the overall look of the house seems to have been taken from a horror film. Bill and the Doctor also see a bizarre tower in the middle of the building, forcing them to find clues on why they cannot enter it. David Suchet guest-stars in the episode as the Landlord.

Since season 10 began airing in April, fans have noticed how the relationship between Bill and the Doctor is different from the previous companion–Doctor relationships. Showrunner Steven Moffat recently caught up with TV Guide and he explained why Bill and the Doctor have more of a student–teacher dynamic this season instead of a romantic one. Moffat revealed that part of it was due to the huge age gap between the two characters.

"It has all the spark and joy of a non-romantic romance," he explained. ". . . When you meet the people in your life who do become your great teachers, you do have a different sort of crush on them. As I say, it's not an erotic one. It's a fascination. It's a joy in their company. It's meeting someone who opens new doors to you. That's a good relationship to model the Doctor and his best pal on."

The 10th season of "Doctor Who" airs every Saturday at 9 p.m. EDT on BBC America.
