'Diablo 4' release date rumors: Title to be the 'next hit game' for Blizzard?

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for new artists that will help them build an unannounced "Diablo" project that fans believe to be the long-rumored "Diablo 4."

The company is on the lookout for an animator, senior animator, senior concept artist, senior VFX artist and senior character artist, all of whom will work for their "next hit game" as Blizzard declares in the job listings.

In one of the job listings on its website, Blizzard gave an idea on the gore and mayhem fans will experience in "Diablo 4," which included "a rich diet of fire, explosions, blood, guts, and exploding bloody guts that are on fire."

"Your well of creative ideas for how enemies spawn, attack, and die never runs dry. You can translate design concepts into juicy, eye-catching visuals with a stylized, hand-crafted touch and a focus on feel," the game studio went on to write.

Blizzard appears to have some "crazy ideas" for "Diablo 4" that the developer would want these artists to bring to life in the highly-anticipated game.

While "Diablo 4" is all but confirmed, thanks to these job listings, Blizzard is yet to publicly announce the game as its next project.

Fans, however, started to think "Diablo 4" is happening when the company fell silent on the "Diablo 3" expansion pack that it was planning to release.

BlizzPro also claims that the headquarters of the company did not allow visitors there anymore apparently because work on "Diablo 4" for fear of information leak as production appears to be already underway.

The job listings, however, hint that "Diablo 4" will take long to arrive. After all, Blizzard is looking for people to fill in key positions in game development.

While a 2016 release for "Diablo 4" is logical since Blizzard usually takes up four years to put out a new "Diablo" game ("Diablo 3" came out in 2012), the time the company spent on the abandoned "Diablo 3" expansion pack could delay the launch.
