'Destiny' Xur location for Aug. 21-23- What will Xur's merchandise inventory be this weekend?

Xur, Agent of Nine

The weekend is fast approaching, which means that "Destiny" players will once again wait for Xur, the Agent of the Nine, to drop by the Tower and sell his exotic weapons and merchandise.

Last weekend, the travelling merchant finally gave in to the request of players and brought the highly-anticipated weapon – the Gjallarhorn.

Those who had enough Strange Coins saved to purchase the exotic weapon naturally bought it when Xur came out last weekend and set up camp at the Tower Hangar. A lot of players bought the exotic rocket launcher that is dubbed as the best weapon in the "Destiny" universe since it is allegedly three times more powerful than any other weapon in the game.

But according to Forbes, "Destiny" players are becoming worried about Bungie's decision to finally sell the most coveted weapon. Some speculate that it will be nerfed since "Destiny's" Year One will end in less than a month.

However, a Bungie spokesperson reportedly denied the rumors, and said that Xur's merchandise inventory always varies, and no one has an idea "what he will bring each week."

Aside from the Gjallarhorn, the constantly moving Agent of the Nine also brought with him an Insurmountable Skullfort that is worth 13 Strange Coins, the Achlyophage Symbiote that sells for 13 Strange Coins, the Light Beyond Nemesis worth 13 Strange Coins, the Exotic Shard that is worth 7 Strange Coins, as well as the Exotic Engram that can be exchanged for 23 Motes of Light.

Earning huge amounts of Strange Coins is not an easy feat. Players must complete the Weekly Heroic Strike under all the three levels of difficulty. After each successful completion of each difficulty, three Strange Coins will be added to the player's treasures. The hardest difficulty, on the other hand, could provide nine Strange Coins. Each week, a character can earn up to nine Strange Coins. This means that players with three characters could provide up to 27 Strange Coins at a time.

Xur, Agent of the Nine, is expected to arrive in the Tower on Friday, 2 a.m. PST/ 5 a.m. EST, and leave on Sunday.
