'Destiny' Xur location Aug. 14-16 weekend: Xur brings Gjallarhorn to the Tower

 Bungie

Bungie might have heard the pleas of "Destiny" players every time Xur, Agent of the Nine, comes out of his lair to showcase his latest merchandise in the Tower, since the most awaited exotic weapon will finally be offered this weekend. From Aug. 14 to 16, the traveling merchant will offer the exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn along with his other items to trade for players' hard-earned Strange Coins or Motes of Light.

The Gjallarhorn is considered as the greatest weapon in the entire "Destiny" universe because of its power. It possesses the "wolfpack rounds" advantage where homing missiles are emitted from the rocket after its first devastating impact to keep on tracking the target.

For the entire 48 hours that the Agent of the Nine will stay at the Bar inside the Tower, players can get hold of the highly coveted Gjallarhorn rocket launcher for 17 Strange Coins. It means that if players do not have enough Strange Coins to get the exotic weapon as soon as Xur reaches his location at 9 p.m GMT on Friday, Aug. 14, they can still work hard to earn more Strange Coins until 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16.

Other items that the constantly moving vendor will have in his merchandise pack include:

  • Insurmountable Skullfort Titan Helmet with 127 Discipline - worth 13 Strange Coins
  • Achlyophage Symbiote Hunter Helmet 125 Discipline - worth 13 Strange Coins
  • Light Beyond Nemesis Warlock Helmet 126 Strength - worth 13 Strange Coins
  • Exotic Shard Material - worth 7 Strange Coins
  • Exotic Engram Gauntlet Engram - worth 23 Motes of Light

The Curios that will come out this week include:

  • Auto Rifle Telemetry Consumable 5 - can be puchased for just 1 Strange Coin
  • Hand Cannon Telemetry Consumable 5 - 1 Strange Coin
  • Machine Gun Telemetry Consumable 5 - 1 Strange Coin
  • Plasma Drive Vehicle Upgrade 1 - 23 Strange Coins
  • "Emerald Coil" Vehicle Upgrade 1 - 23 Strange Coins
  • Heavy Ammo Synthesis Consumable 5 - 1 Strange Coin
