'Destiny' Xur location and merchandise for Oct. 23-25 weekend revealed

The weekend is finally here! It means that "Destiny" fans should start tallying their Strange Coins and Motes of Light to know if they can afford to get new exotic items from Xur, Agent of the Nine's latest merchandise.

For this week, the travelling merchant can be found in the recreation area by the Hangar starting today until Sunday. He has brought with him several exotic items, but he seems to have forgotten to bring a new exotic weapon this time.

However, "Destiny" fans should still check out Xur's current merchandise since they include several interesting gear that could tickle a gamer's fancy.

The list of exotic items that are up for grabs from this weekend includes:

Empyrean Bellicose helmet for Titans

  • Defense: 280
  • Intellect: 34/49 Discipline: 33/48
  • Functions: Players can stay in place for a short period of time by aiming the weapons at the air, while the orbs obtained when the Super is full can recharge a player's melee ability and add more super energy obtained from non-Guardian kills while the shield will begin the recovery as soon as the orb pickup is complete
  • Worth: 13 Strange Coins

Mask of the Third Man helmet for Hunters

  • Defense: 280
  • Intellect: 32/47 Strength: 32/47
  • Functions: Allows for less super energy used in arc Blade attacks and gives more super energy after non-Guardian kills and more health after picking up an orb
  • Worth: 13 Strange Coins

Skull of Dire Ahamkara helmet for Warlocks

  • Defense: 280
  • Strength: 64/79
  • Functions: Lessen the damage acquired when using Nova Bomb, enhances siphon abilities, gives more bonus Super energy from melee kills from the minions of the Darkness, and adds bonus melee energy on Orb pickups
  • Worth: 13 Strange Coins
