Bungie recently decided to address all rumors that have been making the rounds online about the hit action-packed first-person shooter video game "Destiny" these past few days.

The game developer's community manager David "DeeJ" Dague released a statement about all the speculations about the game.

"We've seen a lot of theories about Bungie on the Internet this week. I understand why that stuff is compelling. The drama of the rumor mill is a symptom of a greater issue: We all want Destiny to be better. The problem is that sifting through gossip in search of truth doesn't bring us any closer to a stronger game," Dague stated.

The communication manager discussed the possibility of including the Raid Matchmaking feature in "Destiny." According to Dague, not all the allies in the game have a solid rapport just yet. But there is a possibility that match-made teams will be included in the game in the future.

"You don't need to sell us too hard on the value of Matchmaking at Bungie. It's something we helped to pioneer. Yet, we understand its limitations," the Bungie representative also added.

Meanwhile, Bungie also talked about the alleged ongoing projects for the franchise that will soon be released.  In a different press statement, Dague shared:

"We noticed that you noticed that we already have plans for upcoming content packs in Destiny. We do! They have activity names (which may or may not change) and we have a really good idea what they're going to contain. They even have placeholder nodes in the Director, as you've already discovered."

However, he said that the expansion packs are not yet finished.  The first post-launch pack, entitled "The Dark Below," is currently being worked on, and it is set to be released in December.  The company promises to give more details soon.  So, until the said release date, fans of the latest and hottest role-playing game have to wait until the DLC packs are released.

"Thanks for playing. Thanks for the passion. We know you want details. We'll talk more soon," Dague said.

On the other hand, the rumored PC edition of the game may not be gracing the stores any time soon. For now, gamers can only enjoy playing "Destiny" in PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
