A new downloadable content (DLC) chapter for "Dead by Daylight" has been released, bringing in new characters and one map for players to try out.

According to Gamespot, the "Spark of Madness" expansion will introduce a new killer: the Doctor. The latest villain is a former medical researcher at a covert government black site. During his time there, he used twisted experiments to torture detainees while interrogating them.

In addition, the DLC features a new survivor named Feng Min. She is a former e-sports professional who is capable of repairing generators much faster than the other survivors. Her skills include acute senses that allow her to easily locate a killer.

The expansion also adds a new map called the Treatment Theater. This is the location where the Doctor performed his dark experiments. Although the place has already been deserted, signs of the previous torture and experiments that took place in the area are still there.

Comicbook notes that electricity plays a huge part in the Doctor's kit. He uses electrical attacks against the survivors and incapacitates them to stop their progress. The sinister character has three skills: Overcharge, Overwhelming Presence, and Monitor and Abuse. When he uses Overcharge, a generator is charged by using the Break Generator option. This forces the next survivor who interacts with the item into a tough skill check.

Since its PC release in June 2016, "Dead by Daylight" has already sold over 1.8 million copies on Steam. It has also become famous with viewers on Twitch and other platforms for streaming. The game lets one player take on the role of a killer while four others play as his victims, and the one who lasts the longest wins.

Developed by Behavior Interactive and published by Starbreeze Studios, "Dead by Daylight" is currently available on PC. A PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch is on the way this June.
