The creator of the popular zombie survival game "Day Z" is working on a new project. Titled "Living Dark," the upcoming game will be procedurally generated noir story.

Steeped in mystery and darkness, "Living Dark" looks like the ideal narrative adventure for gamers looking for a tense atmosphere and story with plenty of twist and turns. As of yet, "Living Dark" is currently in its early planning stages. However, two teasers have already been released.

The teasers are titled "Making Weather" and "Algo Azul." Both have been uploaded to Living Dark's YouTube channel. "Making Weather" was posted on Dec. 11, while "Algo Azul" was posted a day later on Dec. 12. The first trailer featured a handful of men working on what appeared to be a long table with different substances scattered across it – presumably drugs. The men continue to work until armed-men break into the room. The men draw their guns and are followed by a human-sized robot.

The second trailer "Algo Azul" features a man sitting quietly at a diner. After some time passes by, the man clutches his head, and suddenly, the plates and silverware in the diner begin to levitate. The man swings his head back and the silverware fly all over the place, killing the other people in the diner.

After that, the screen fades to black. So far, both the trailers have featured scenarios without including the actual context. The game's actual plot has yet to be revealed in the trailers, but the summary on the official YouTube channel states that the game will take place in a city called Vox.

The game is set in the near-future, and things in Vox, are not going so well. There are different factions struggling to gain control of the city, alongside unnamed tensions.

A part of the synopsis reads, "Fight for friends, factions or your own future, but survive at all costs in a society where justice is only for the powerful." Aside from this, players will also be able to explore the environment, befriend other characters, and make weighty moral decisions as the story progresses.
