'Dancing with the Stars' season 22 updates: New black-gold poster unveiled; contestant list to be revealed next month

ABC has released the poster for "Dancing with the Stars" season 22, teasing that the new season "strikes gold." In the black and gold promo image are dance pro Witney Carson and Keo Motsepe, who both competed in the last season.

For a while now, rumor mills have been on overdrive in churning details on who will be the pros and celebs making up the roster of this year. As usual, the complete list of contestants will be unveiled on "Good Morning America" on March 8, between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. ET.

The celebrities rumored to join "Dancing with the Stars" season 22 are "Fuller House" star Jodie Sweetin, "The Bachelor" season 20's Ben Higgins, football stars Jonathan Stewart and Rashad Jennings, Olympic gold medalist Dominique Moceanu and "Orange Is the New Black" star Taryn Manning.

Meanwhile, the judges' panel for "Dancing with the Stars" season 22 will once again be graced by Len Goodman, who skipped the last season. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Toniolo are staying put but Julianne Hough is sitting the upcoming "DWTS" season out.

It looks like she will be focusing on other endeavors this year. During a chat with People Magazine, she said, "I will miss being on the panel for Season 22, but have a lot of exciting stuff coming that I look forward to sharing."

"The pro dancers, producers and crew at 'DWTS' will always be my family," the former "Dancing with the Stars" champion went on to say. Producer Rob Wade, on the other hand, is already looking forward to her return.

He told People Magazine that "we hope to see her back in the ballroom in the future." Hough promises that "it's not the last you'll see of me in the ballroom." She had been a judge on the show since season 19.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 22 premieres March 21.
