The promo for "Dance Moms" season 6 shows why Abby Lee Miller's dance school is one of the best in the country.

Based on the promo trailer for Lifetime's long-running dance reality series, the students of the Abby Lee Dance Company, particularly the Junior Elite Competition Team, showed how they prepare for each dance competition they join.

Spoilers revealed that the girls from the company joined the Dream NDC in San Diego, CA. In the said competition, the girls won most of the major awards, including the overall first place in the Junior Division when the girls danced to the tune of "Seven Deadly Sins."

Other awards they received include the third place for the Junior Division for JoJo's "Mercy" performance, first place Junior and second place Overall for Mackenzie's rendition of "Can'y Take My Fire," as well as Nia's fourth Teen recognition after performing the song "Money Makes the World Go Round."

Meanwhile, Abby Lee's favorite and most popular student Maddie Ziegler was said to be missing from the show during the first few episodes of "Dance Moms" season 6 because she had to shoot her scenes for Colin Trevorrow's upcoming drama movie "The Book of Henry." However, the multi-awarded 13-year-old dancer will join the rest of her peers in ALDC starting in the show's seventh episode.

Other spoilers reveal that the events during the guesting of Maddie and singer Sia on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" will be seen on "Dance Moms" season 6 episode 8, alongside her appearance on "Good Day LA" with another co-star JoJo.

On the other hand, Maddie's list of achievements will add another once-in-a-lifetime performance with the iconic dance group The Rockettes, after Teen Vogue tapped her to share the stage with the legendary group.

"Dance Moms" season 6 will start airing on Jan. 5 on Lifetime.
