Dakota Johnson, Chris Martin Dating rumors: Couple seen at Ellen Degeneres' birthday party while ex Gwyneth Paltrow also in attendance

"Fifty Shades Freed" star Dakota Johnson and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin now seems all right in taking their relationship public. The rumored couple are a long way away from when they were first seen having dinner together last year. Last Saturday, they were seen holding hands as they attended TV personality Ellen Degeneres' 60th birthday party.

The two were seen in a video holding hands, like a 100 percent legit couple, as they walked together combing through Degeneres' party. On their way they ran into Drew Barrymore and the couple gave the best smiles as they conversed with the actress. From the footage, it is obvious that the two genuinely enjoy each other's company.

Interestingly, both of Martin's exes Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lawrence were in attendance. But it seems everyone is mature and confident enough for it to be an issue. Martin and Paltrow maintain a good, friendly relationship because they have two children.

If Johnson is intent on getting serious with Martin, it is likely that she will have to form a bond with Paltrow and the children, as well.

In any case, the couple seemed to have enjoyed each other so much that they were not bothered. They focused on enjoying themselves at Degeneres' party instead

Rumors regarding Martin and Johnson's relationship first started when they were spotted having dinner in Los Angeles in November of last year. Johnson was reportedly confiding with Martin regarding her work in "Fifty Shades Freed," which was still in production at the time.

Fans were also curious about Jamie Dornan's reaction regarding the situation. Despite their steamy chemistry in the "Fifty Shades" movie franchise, Johnson and Dornan are noting more than good friends in real life. However, the actor has not commented on the relationship yet.

After "Fifty Shades Freed," Johnson is expected to appear in a film called "Bad Times at the El Royale." Shooting the film will take Johnson to places, so she and Martin are expected to be separated for a time.
