More mind blowing cases are expected to be featured in "Criminal Minds" season 10.
During the last episode, the agents of BAU had to face the investigation of three different murder suspects who all claimed that they were attacked by "a clawed shadow monster" during the time of the crime.
The BAU agents believed that an UnSub, who can control other people's mind, is behind all these crimes, and the alleged murderers are actually innocent.
In that episode, the three murder suspects came from different states, ethnic groups, and social statuses, but they were somehow connected because of the crimes. The BAU realized that all the murder suspects cannot remember anything about the alleged crimes, and that there were evidences that can prove that all of them had been drugged twice. The agents also realized that all three were adopted in the same year.
The investigation of these mysterious cases almost cost Hotch's (Thomas Gibson) life. When he was busy talking to the female suspect, the lights in the BAU headquarter suddenly turned off. Hotch was also drugged, but he appears to be immune with the kind of medicine that the UnSub administered.
Eventually, the BAU managed to save Hotch and the female suspect from further hard, but the UnSub still remains free.
Could this mean that the character will return in the future of the series?
Meanwhile, the official synopsis for the next Criminals Minds Season 10 episode reads:
"When shooting victims are found in the Los Angeles area with possible links to criminal activity, the BAU searches for a vigilante UnSub."
Also, executive producer Erica Messer revealed that Kate (Jennifer Love Hewitt) will be in a difficult position when she had to save her niece Meg (Hailey Sole) and her friend.
In a spoiler posted on Entertainment Weekly, Messer said:
"By the end of episode 22, we do a mini cliffhanger in that we know that Meg and her best friend are being kidnapped by the guy we saw in the premiere ... [The finale] is our team fighting for one of our own to get her loved one back."
Criminal Minds Season 10 episode 22, titled "Protection," is scheduled to air on Wednesday, April 29.
