Cat and Reid in Criminal Minds season 11.

There could be a chance for a twisted love affair between a psychopath and a BAU special agent in the future episodes of "Criminal Minds" season 11.

According to guest star Aubrey Plaza, there could be a chance for her character Cat Adams to return to the long-running police procedural series in the future. She also revealed that there could be a blossoming romance between Cat and BAU Special Agent Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) even if she is already behind bars.

"For me, it was a love story," the actress revealed in an interview with TVLine. "And I don't think it's over. I think you're going to see Spencer visiting me in jail, Hannibal Lecter style. I can't speak for the writers or the producers, but I told them this is not over. These people are soulmates."

Plaza's character was introduced in the series during the 11th episode titled "Entropy," where her supposed romantic date with Agent Reid turned deadly after she told him that she planted several bombs inside the restaurant where they were having dinner.
