After FBI's International Response Unit responded to a case involving American college kids in Thailand, Jack Garrett's (Gary Sinise) team will pack their bags and fly to India in the next episode of "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders."

The spin-off of the long-running police procedural series will see the IRT respond to a call from an American man in trouble while attending a festival in India. The episode is titled "Harvested."

According to the synopsis for the series' second episode, "When an American man attending a festival in Mumbai wakes up missing a kidney and his friend gone, the International Response Team's investigation leads them to suspect the UnSub is more than just trading organs on the Black Market."

This will require Garrett and his team, composed of Agent Clara Seger (Alana de la Garza), Agent Matt Simmons (Daniel Henney), Agent Monty Montgomery (Tyler James Williams), and medical examiner Mae Jarvis (Annie Funke), to book a flight to India to find out what happened to the U.S. citizen.

Meanwhile, De la Garza shared her thoughts on the creepy special effects used in the series. According to the actress, all the gory scenes never fail to send chills down her spine.

"I hate anything that has to do with the eyeballs, and we have an episode where these wooden dowels are jammed into eyeballs. And there is one with tongues split down the middle. Creepy. Gross. Our special effects, the makeup team, they're all so talented," the actress shared, via TVLine.

De la Garza also revealed that her character Clara has a very close relationship with Garrett since they have been friends for a long time.

"I think that they probably have shared things within that partnership that others haven't, like moments and feelings," the actress explained. "He knew my now-deceased husband — we were all friends back in the day, so there is a connection that runs a little deeper — which is pretty cool."

"Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" episode 2 airs Wednesday, March 23, on CBS.
