Creflo Dollar net worth won't pay for new private plane as televangelist asks congregation to buy it for him instead

Controversial televangelist Reverend Creflo Dollar is in the news once again, this time because of his GoFundMe appeal to his followers to buy him a $65 million-private jet.

Christian Post spotted the televangelist's crowd-funding campaign last week, which asked his congregation to donate $300 each or more to help him buy the top-of-the-line private jet that billionaires and celebrities fancy.

His appeal for the crowdfunding initiative called the Project G650:

"We are asking members, partners and supporters of this ministry to assist in the undertaking of an initiative called Project G650. The mission of Project G650 is to acquire a Gulfstream G650 airplane so that Pastors Creflo and Taffi and World Changers Church International can continue to blanket the globe with the Gospel of grace. We are believing for 200,000 people to give contributions of 300 US dollars or more to turn this dream into a reality — and allow us to retire the aircraft that served us well for many years."

The old, broken down jet that the evangelist is using is now grounded, and it will also need a lot of money for repairs.

However, the site where the GoFundMe appeal was posted is currently down or removed, since it cannot be accessed at the moment.

A spokesperson for the reverend's World Changers Church International told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the church is not aware about the website glitches, and they will check on it to know why the appeals page has been removed. Still, those who are willing to give Dollar the funds to purchase the high-end 18-seater twin-engine jet can do so by choosing the Project G650 tab in the church's donations page

Based on the report posted by the Atlanta Blackstar, the controversial reverend has an estimated net worth of $27 million, which is very far from the usual $29,640 average annual income of the residents of College Park, Georgia where he and his church are based. He also reportedly owns two state-of-the-art Rolls Royces and a multi-million dollar mansion located in Fayetteville, Georgia.
