'Pretty Little Liars' season 6 spoilers: new photos show intense season premiere

The Liars are scared, tired, and dirty in the episode titled "Game on, Charles" in Pretty Little Liars Season 6. ABC Family

Will the Liars finally get out of Charles' lair when "Pretty Little Liars" returns for season 6?

With less than a month to go before the first episode of season 6 airs on ABC Family, fans are eager to find out in advance what they can expect from the series. To heighten the excitement, the network released several still footages to offer a glimpse at what the season premiere has to offer.

Based on the photos from the episode titled "Game on, Charles," Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), and Mona (Janel Parrish) are still in Charles' lair while wearing their prom dresses. The girls are already outside the dollhouse but they all look tired and dirty, and still locked inside the electric gated fence that the Big A arranged for them.

In one of the photos, Aria and Emily are seen glaring at Mona, which could mean that the girls doubt if they can really trust her after everything that happened inside the dollhouse. There is also a photo wherein the girls seem to be staring at a single direction, and Aria appears to be negotiating with someone. Could this mean that the Liars are going to encounter Charles face-to-face?

Also, another series of photos shows that Alison (Sasha Pieterse) is already out of prison, after the Rosewood Police discovered that Mona is not dead in the first place. She seems to be holding a press conference, but she does not look too happy about it.

Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and Ezra (Ian Harding) are also present during the press conference, and they also seem to be unhappy with the way things are going during that event. It could mean that Ali is talking about something that concerns their girlfriends because they both look very worried. Ali's dad is also seen in the picture, but he seems to be very firm on his daughter at that time.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 will premiere on June 2 on ABC.
