Although the "Star Wars" franchise has generally found success in their movies, spinoffs, and games, the most recent game "Battlefront II" was a recent flop. "Star Wars" fans should not fret, however, as gamers can now make their own "Star Wars" game with another game and app called "Bloxels."

For those who have not heard of it yet, "Bloxels" is a game that was recently released by toy-manufacturing company Mattel. Parents will have to buy the game's plastic board with the set of building blocks, both of which will be used once they download the app on either iOS or Android.

Simply put, Bloxels is an app and game that teaches its users the basics of game design, storytelling, and basic programming. According to Engadget, the app was aimed at parents whose kids want to become game developers when they grow up some day.

To play, the kids have to place the blocks on the plastic board, with each block representing an aspect of the game, as per The Next Web. Once this is completed, either the parents or the kids themselves can take a picture of the board using the app. The app would then be able to identify the blocks and their colors and bring them to life in the app.

The kids can then use the same app to play the game they created in order to test its features. They can also share their created games and play other people's games with the app's "Play and Share" area.

Finally, the app is not only a creation app; it is also an app that kids can play games on as it already features its own "Star Wars"-themed games. Players can either choose characters with long-range blasters or the favorite melee lightsabers.

As the game is designed with kids in mind, the instructions, which will be explained through the app, are easy enough for young children to understand. Although it may seem like a kids app, even older kids, teens, and even adults can play and express their creativity through the app.
