"Covert Affairs" writers have already celebrated the end of season five.

While the entire cast and production crew of "Covert Affairs" are busy filming abroad for the remaining episodes of season five, the writing team is left at home. But do not think for a minute that they are sulking for being left behind, especially after the group posted a photo on Twitter early on Sept. 24 to show that they are having fun at a bowling alley to celebrate the conclusion of the show's fifth season.

The post reads:  "While our crew shoots abroad, our office has dwindled. But to celebrate S5's end? Bowling party! #CovertAffairs"

The show, which aired its mid-season finale last Aug. 26, left behind a lot of unanswered questions regarding the events that happened during the Chicago bombing.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, series creators Chris Ord and Matt Corman shared several details and spoilers about the show's remaining episodes for the season.

When asked about what is in store for the blind CIA special ops officer Auggie Anderson in the six remaining installments for season five, the creators teased that Christopher Gorham's role will have a riveting contribution to the plot of the series. However, the two refused to divulge more information about this as of the moment.

On the other hand, Ord mentioned a little detail about the importance of the intimate scene between Annie Walker (Piper Perabo) and Nic Bishop (Ryan McQuaid).

The co-creator said, "We felt in many ways they both needed it. We hope fans like it. We love McQuaid as a character. Nic Bishop's doing just a phenomenal job. So hopefully the fans will be excited about it. We know that there's a lot of Walkerson shippers out there, and that's always something that's playing in our minds as well. But hopefully in the moment, it feels right. And to us, it certainly felt right. We'll see where the relationship goes going forward."

"Covert Affairs" season five is expected to resume airing on Nov. 6 on USA Network.
