Firehouse 51 is in serious trouble when a blaze goes out of control in the upcoming episode of "Chicago Fire" season 5.

Titled "My Miracle," next week's episode will see Chicago Cubs players Jake Arrieta, Kris Bryant, and NBC sportscaster Mike Tirico as guest stars. According to the official synopsis, a dangerous warehouse fire puts the entire Firehouse 51 squad at risk. Mouch (Christian Stolte) is forced to make a major decision that affects his future, while Casey (Jesse Spencer) fights to make sure that his first responders bill is passed.

Back at home, tensions are high for Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Casey. They continue to have conflicting opinions about Dawson's father (guest star Daniel Zacapa), who overstays his welcome at their house. Meanwhile, Herrmann (David Eigenberg) goes out of his way just to fulfill a young boy's dream.

NBC has released a new sneak peek for the episode. It opens with Hermann taking the young boy to a baseball stadium where he meets his favorite players. The clip immediately switches to a grim image when the other firemen are called to a burning warehouse. A huge explosion happens while the members of the squad are still inside the building. Boden (Eamonn Walker) immediately calls Casey and asks him if he has found an exit. "Gabby, I love you," Casey says on the radio. The last scene shows Dawson crying, which implies that Casey's life is on the line.

Last week, the show stunned viewers with the conclusion of Severide's (Taylor Kinney) season-long romance. Although he is still grieving his girlfriend's death, Severide must face another challenge in his career. Executive producer Derek Haas recently told TV Line that Casey's friend Kannell (Kamal Angelo Bolden) is joining the team and he is expected to butt heads with Severide.

"Severide, as he is with anyone, you gotta earn his respect," Haas explained. "So that's going to be part of the story."

The season 5 finale of "Chicago Fire" airs Tuesday, May 16, at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
