A new TV spot for "Captain America: Civil War" sees a duel between two characters that the previous trailers for the upcoming Marvel movie haven't shown yet.
The new international trailer pits Cap against none other than the king of Wakanda himself, Black Panther. It was a quick moment but an exciting one at that solely because fans finally see Black Panther in action.
Trailers have been short of scenes featuring Black Panther in battle as he was only shown in cool posing or introductory scenes and nothing more in previous "Captain America: Civil War" trailers. This makes the newly released "Captain America: Civil War" TV spot the first to see him in action. In the particular scene, Black Panther jumps at Captain America, who, in turn, shows a bit of struggle as T'Challa uses his claws to put away his vibranium shield.
It looks like Captain America will spar against all members of Team Iron Man one way or another in "Captain America: Civil War." In another trailer, fans can definitely remember how Tom Holland's Spider-Man stole the show and the hero's shield as well.
Black Panther is played by actor Chad Boseman. Like Spider-Man, "Captain America: Civil War" will mark the Black Panther's debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. More about the Wakanda royal will be showcased in his upcoming solo film in July 2018.
There's a lot of Tony Stark in this "Captain America: Civil War" TV spot as well. He is seen taking on Bucky, who did not hesitate to shoot him. The two warring parties were once again glimpsed with an extra Scarlet Witch scene tucked in there.
"Captain America: Civil War" divides the heroes and avengers into two camps following the government's decision to make them responsible for the collateral damage they make during battle. Iron Man thinks the ruling is for the best while the Cap believes the government should not interfere.
