'Captain America: Civil War' cast rumors: Is the Hulk in the roster?

Will science geniuses Bruce Banner and Tony Stark work together again in Marvel's soon-to-be released "Captain America: Civil War"?

It appears like Robert Downey Jr. has the power to call the shots regarding the casting of "Captain America: Civil War."

Actor Mark Ruffalo, who portrays the role of the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was asked by Hitflix if he will join the other Avengers in the third installment in the "Captain America" franchise, and he said that the "Iron Man" star assured him that he will also be part of the film even if Marvel has yet to give him an offer.

"If Robert Downey, Jr. says I'm in Captain America, I'm in Captain America dammit. And I will wait for the day that my call sheet shows up at my doorstep or my script," the Oscar-nominated actor said. "At this point, I'm told that I'm in it by Robert, which I'll take as biblical, but I just haven't heard or seen from production yet."

Currently, the star-studded roster of "Captain America: Civil War" includes Chris Evans who will reprise his titular role as Captain America/ Steve Rogers, Downey as Iron Man/ Tony Stark, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow/ Natasha Romanoff, Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier/ Bucky Barnes, Anthony Mackie as the Falcon/ Sam Wilson, Emily Vancamp as Agent 13/ Sharon Carter, Don Cheadle as War Machine/ James "Rhodey" Rhodes, Jeremy Renner as the Hawkeye/ Clint Barton, and Paul Rudd, who will portray the role of Ant-Man/ Scott Lang.

"Captain America: Civil War" will deal with the falling out of the members of the Avengers when Captain America and Iron Man get involved in a big disagreement because of their opposing opinions regarding the government-mandated registration of all humans with supernatural abilities for regulation.

"Captain America: Civil War" is slated to come out on May 6, 2016.
