'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' news: PS4 multiplayer beta test is on this weekend

The multiplayer beta of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will be dropped by Infinity Ward on PlayStation 4 this week, based on the latest trailer released by the game developer.

In the game's beta phase, players can explore three types of the improved Combat Rigs class system, including the Warfighter, the Synaptic, and the Merc combat rigs. Each of these class systems comes with their own unique traits and payloads.

The players can also try out the latest set of weapons and equipment within the upcoming game as they progress in each level. Also, the players can be involved in classic and new multiplayer game modes combat while testing their skills in the game's new Mission Teams to get rewards for each completed challenges.

Reports also revealed that the game modes that will be included in the upcoming multiplayer beta include the Standard Team Deathmatch, the Domination, the Kill Confirmed game mode, and the new Defender game mode.

To get the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta on PlayStation 4, players must pre-order the game for their game console. The beta will start on Friday, Oct. 14, and it will last until Monday, Oct. 17.

Meanwhile, those who will use Xbox One to play the game can enjoy the multiplayer beta on Friday, Oct. 21, up to Monday, Oct. 24. They also have to pre-order the game for the Microsoft game platform in order to download the beta.

On the other hand, Activision finally confirmed the amount of space needed to play "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." According to the game's website, the estimated amount of free storage space that will be required to play "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" as well as the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" (Legacy, Digital Deluxe or Legacy Pro) must be at least 130 GB.

The estimated amount can cover both games, as well as the upcoming updates and the future multiplayer maps for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" that are scheduled to be released before the end of the year.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is slated to be released worldwide on Nov. 4, 2016.
