After Activision dropped the latest "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" patch, the studio now offers a new in-game campaign called The Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) Warrior Personalization pack to raise funds for charity.

The pack contains three reticles, a custom weapon camo and a calling card. This new DLC can be purchased for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for only $4. All proceeds will benefit the Call of Duty Endowment organization.

According to the description of the DLC,  the Warrior Personalization pack includes an exclusive weapon skin. "When you purchase the Warrior Personalization pack, you're helping veterans find meaningful employment after leaving service. 100 percent of the proceeds of the Warriors Personalization pack will go directly to help combat veteran employment," the announcement for the DLC says.

Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick established the Call of Duty Endowment as a non-profit organization in 2009. It aims to help identify and provide funds for organizations that offer jobs for unemployed veterans.

Presently, the Call of Duty Endowment organization has already funded over 17,500 job opportunities for military veterans. At this rate, the organization could reach its initial goal of funding 25,000 job placements before the end of 2018.

"This is a great way to honor and assist our heroes as they return to civilian life," Call of Duty Endowment executive Rob Kostich said in a statement (via GameSpot). The personalization pack lets the Call of Duty community help veterans, while playing a game they love. We're grateful to our players and our platform partners for helping."

Meanwhile, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Black Market" was released by Activision and game developer Treyarch on Dec. 8. It includes customization tools such as the Weapon Paint Shop, Gunsmith, and Emblem Editor as well as personalization items like character gear, weapon camos, taunts and calling cards.

It also includes three new melee weapons that can be purchased through Supply Drops, which include the Butterfly Knife, Wrench, and Brass Knuckles.
