The latest downloadable content (DLC) for "Call of Duty: Black Ops," titled Zombies Chronicles, is finally arriving next week and will come with eight newly re-mastered maps from "World at War," "Black Ops," and "Black Ops 2."
It has been learned that Zombies Chronicles will require around 12.2GB of space, and will feature eight newly re-mastered maps into the game with "true HD, current-generation visuals, enhanced lighting, revamped character models and environments, and updated AI and audio systems."
Here is the list of the eight re-mastered maps from previous "Call of Duty" games:
- Nacht der Untoten: This map is set in an abandoned airstrip where countless hordes of the zombies can be found.
- Verruckt: This map is set at a German asylum with dark corridors, where terrifying undead enemies lurk.
- Shi No Numa: Otherwise dubbed as the "swamp of death," the Shi No Numa is located at a Japanese territory and is surrounded by a jungle with extremely hot temperature, hellhounds, and endless armies of zombies.
- Ascension: Located at the Soviet Cosmodrome, the Ascension is where the zombie experiments run loose and other terrifying creatures abound.
- Kino der Untoten: This map is set at an abandoned cinema where Crawler Zombies and fiery traps abound.
- Shangri-la: This Zombies Chronicles map is set at a legendary shrine trapped inside an exotic jungle and where the undead emerge from tricky labyrinth of underground caverns, deadly traps, and dark secrets.
- Moon: As the name suggests, this map is located on the Moon where the forgotten zombies are a horror in waiting.
- Origins: This is the map where the greatest evil in the world of "Call of Duty: Black Ops" has been unleashed upon the unearthing of the mysterious new "Element 115."
Apart from the re-mastered eight maps, Zombies Chronicles also includes 20 vials of Liquid Divinium, two Whimsical GobbleGums, and the exclusive Zombies Pack-A-Punch Weapon Camo.
The Zombies Chronicles is slated to arrive on May 16 for PlayStation 4 and will carry a $29.99 price tag. As the upcoming DLC is not included in the Season Pass, these members will have to pay in order to download it.
