'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' sniper-only mode launched

"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" fans are given an additional Christmas gift before the year ends, after the game developer announced that they are rolling out a new multiplayer mode over the weekend. Sledgehammer Games released the latest multiplayer mode called "One Shot," which is a snipers-only kind of DLC.

The game developer released the description of the multiplayer mode, saying:

"One Shot is a brand new snipers-only game mode with decreased health and highly specific classes. Each of the five classes have been custom designed by our development team and OpTic NaDeSHoT, to test the true sniper skill of Advanced Warfare in this new custom mode. Each class features the MORS, a bolt-action railgun sniper, along with a variety of perks, Scorestreaks, and Exo abilities."

There are five different classes that are featured in the new mode. These classes can be distinguished according to weapon attachments, perks, scorestreaks, as well as Exo abilities. One of the classes is called the Hard Scope. This takes away the scorestreaks and attachments, except for UAV, but it has additional Perk Greed wildcards. Meanwhile, the Irons class gives an added perk to aid the MORS with the help of iron sights aiming, which is an ideal choice to use for those areas with tighter maps.

Aside from the snipers-only mode, the game developer is also coming up with an event to launch the XP weekend. This is because of the connectivity issues that both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live websites encountered recently.

Also, Sledgehammer Games and "Call of Duty's" game publisher Activision recently launched a teaser trailer for the soon-to-be-released zombie mode for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare." The game is dubbed as "Exo Zombies." Its first episode in the upcoming mode is said to be a part of the "Havoc" expansion, which is expected to be released in January. This can be obtained by purchasing the $50-DLC pass, but it can also be purchased by itself for only $15.
