The fans should not miss the upcoming episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," if the latest spoilers are to be believed. Episode 52 is expected to feature a number of major character comebacks, including that of Uchija Sasuke and a mysterious Akatsuki member. Nevertheless, the spin-off anime series is slowly building the premise of its next major story arc that features Konoha's upcoming Chunin examinations.
According to the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, the upcoming episode 52 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is titled "Sasuke's Shadow," and by the title itself, it might be safe to assume that the beloved Uchuja will make his first major appearance in the anime.
Fans have already noticed that Sasuke is no longer present in the series, after that one episode wherein Sarada learned about her real parentage. Still, it should be expected that Sasuke will be a vital part of the upcoming Chunin exam story arc of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," especially by those who already watched the first "Boruto" movie.
Aside from Sasuke, another familiar character will make an appearance in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 52. The episode synopsis reveals that an old Akatsuki figure, Zetsu, will arrive in Konoha. It appears that Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki are on a mission to capture train robbers that are on the loose, but they will not expect that a dangerous enemy will face them instead. In the end, it will be revealed that Team 7 will end up in a place where the infamous Otsutsuki clan once resided.
As for Sasuke, it is expected that he will return to Konoha to warn Naruto about an imminent threat that involves the Otsutsuki clan. The two were able to defeat Otsutsuki Kaguya in the past, but it looks like their old enemy has other family members that are planning to wreak havoc in the Hidden Leaf Village, and just in time for the Chunin examinations.
"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 52 will air in Japan on April 4.
