'Boruto' Naruto manga spoilers: First chapters to mirror 'Boruto: Naruto the Movie,' expected to show more of adult Boruto

A new manga series featuring Boruto has been launched. Shonen Jump

Naruto's story may be over, but his son Boruto's is just getting started. Just recently, a new manga series inspired by Naruto's indomitable son began.

Fans have been hoping for a sequel to the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie," but fans got an even better treat—a new manga series following the adventures and exploits of the young Uzumaki.

The "Boruto" manga adapts the storyline of the abovementioned movie and is an official continuation of the long-running "Naruto" franchise. This is why fans should be very familiar with the initial events to take place in the manga.

The following chapters of the "Boruto" manga are expected to chronicle the events in "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" before it branches itself and lays down a completely new storyline for readers.

The "Boruto" manga is written by Ukyo Kodachi and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto. Of course, Masashi Kishimoto, the man behind the mega popular "Naruto" manga, will be overseeing the promising new project.

The first chapter of the "Boruto" manga featured a peek into the future of Naruto's son, which, as fans would have guessed, sees Boruto as powerful as he always wanted to be.

An adult version of Boruto was seen at the Hokage mountain taking on a mysterious ninja who wants to wipe out the shinobi legacy and promises to give Boruto the same fate his father suffered.

Boruto's future, as seen in the manga, hints that he has left Konoha and that he has acquired the Byakugan skill, which reveals that even though he left the village, he is still a ninja.

As the "Boruto" manga progresses, fans hope to see more of Boruto's future to be fleshed out gradually, as the stories go back and forth the present and the future.

Before more details about Boruto's future could be revealed, the manga takes readers back to the present to tell the story of the young and determined Boruto.

New chapters of the "Boruto" manga will be released via Weekly Shonen Jump. The Japanese publication's digital magazine also releases English versions.
