Bobbi Kristina Brown latest update: Condition 'has continued to deteriorate,' transferred to Atlanta hospice

Is Bobbi Kristina Brown's family preparing themselves for the worst?

The 22-year-old daughter of the late pop icon Whitney Houston and her former husband Bobby Brown was recently transferred to a hospice care facility in Georgia five months after she was placed in a medically-induced coma.

Pat Houston, aunt and co-guardian of Bobbi Kristina, publicly declared their decision to move her in a hospice facility through PEOPLE Wednesday, saying: "Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, [her] condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."

CNN reported that Bobbi Kristina's family members have been spotted frequently around the Atlanta-based hospice care since she was admitted in the unnamed facility.

Bobbi Kristina was discovered unresponsive in her own bath tub inside her house on Jan. 31. The fateful incident happened just a few days before the death anniversary of her mother, who was also discovered lifeless in a bath tub in a Beverly Hilton hotel in California on Feb. 11, 2012.

Meanwhile, her court-appointed conservator Bedelia C. Hargrove filed a civil lawsuit in the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia against Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon, claiming that the 22-year-old caused "substantial bodily harm" when the couple was still living together in her home. The physical fight allegedly caused Bobbi Kristina to be found "face down in a bathtub, with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out." It was also mentioned that the incident is the reason why she had been diagnosed with "global and irreversible brain damage."

The lawsuit also states that Gordon is accused of stealing more than $11,000 from her account since her hospitalization in January. Bobbi Kristina used to refer to him as her husband, but her father's lawyer stated that the two were never legally married.

At the moment, Bobbi Kristina's health condition is being observed by various media round-the-clock.
