Another "Breaking Bad" character may be on his way to "Better Call Saul" soon.

Vince Gilligan — the series creator of "Better Call Saul" and "Breaking Bad" — has hinted that fans might see Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman back on the small screen. Gilligan recently caught up with Digital Spy and he said he would be open to bringing Jesse to the AMC spinoff, "Better Call Saul."

"There could have been police right around the next corner. Or there could have been an unfettered, free future for him," the creator said, referring to Jesse's fate in the original drama. "I personally would like to think he got away, because he paid his dues tenfold. I like to believe he got away."

In terms of Jesse's life post-Walt, Gilligan admitted that he has no idea on what kind of career Jessie should be doing. He just hopes the troubled character got away safely after Walter White's (Bryan Cranston) death and was able to start a new life away from crime and drugs. "I always liked that character. I always had a soft spot for him," he continued.

When further pressed on Jesse's comeback on "Better Call Saul," Gilligan said he is not closing his doors on the possibility. "You never know if that character may get revisited in the future...Anything's possible," he added.

"Breaking Bad" concluded in September 2013 with Walter's demise. Although the lead character passed away, his sidekick Jesse managed to escape and was last seen driving off into the night. His fate after Walter's death was never revealed, leading fans to come up with different theories on how the character moved on from his drug-dealing past.

"Better Call Saul" season 4 is expected to premiere this spring on AMC.
