'Better Call Saul' season 2 episode 7 spoilers: Jimmy goes colorful while Mike fights for 'peace' with Jimmy in 'Inflatable'

Mike and Jimmy work together in "Better Call Saul" season 2 episode 7. AMC

The next episode of "Better Call Saul" season 2 promises that Jimmy McGill is close to completing his dark transformation. In "Inflatable," the future Saul Goodman becomes the kind of lawyer he will be.

Jimmy believes he is bound to be the sort of lawyer that is "colorful" and he will prove that to Kim by donning a bright-colored, head-turning suit that's sure to catch everyone's attention going to the office.

As the synopsis for the "Better Call Saul" season 2 episode teases, Jimmy is definitely making a big step to a whole new path far different from what he has been treading for years. When he does, it looks like he wants to catch eyes.

Meanwhile, Hector and the Cousins are still after Mike in the upcoming episode of "Better Call Saul" season 2. However, the feud has gone so long and risky it soon involves the latter's granddaughter.

In the last episode of "Better Call Saul" season 2, Hector sent Leonel and Marco Salamanca, who "Breaking Bad" fans certainly will remember, to convince Mike to have Tuco out of prison.

Mike wasn't all that thrilled about it but had no choice after learning the little girl will play the price. The upcoming installment teases that Mike will no longer be able to keep his frustration with how twisted this deal has turned and it will be up to Jimmy "to keep the peace."

Meanwhile, "Better Call Saul" writer Gennifer Hutchison had something to say about the references and personalities from the spinoff's parent series "Breaking Bad" in a Variety interview.

"I feel like if this is all we do, I feel like that's pretty good as far as having the familiarity of 'Breaking Bad.' If this is it, I would be satisfied, personally," she said.

As for Gus Fring from "Breaking Bad," who fans expect will appear with Mike now a series regular, Hutchison knows that fans expect him to turn up in "Better Call Saul" soon but she did not say whether or not he really will.

"Better Call Saul" season 2 episode 7 "Inflatable" airs March 28 on AMC.
