The beginning of the strong ties between Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) and Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) seen in "Breaking Bad" is starting to become evident in "Better Call Saul" season 2.

Based in the recent episode of the groundbreaking spin-off series from AMC, Jimmy's job as a lawyer is starting to intertwine with being a private investigator-turned-crime "cleaner" when Mike asked him if could divert the police's suspicion away from his drug dealer client Daniel "Pryce" Wormald (Mark Proksch).

Jimmy managed to fulfill Mike's wishes by telling the police that Pryce is keeping a stash of fetish videos where he recorded himself sitting on pies while crying.

While the two managed to successfully save Mike's client from serving time in jail, Jimmy's girlfriend Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) was not pleased when she realized that he fabricated the evidence to keep Pryce off the hook. Kim was very disappointed, especially since Jimmy is now given a chance to make a name for himself under the Davis and Main law firm.

But it seems like the transactions between Jimmy and Mike will not end with Pryce's case. In the upcoming episode titled "Amarillo," the two will face another set of challenges that will blur the lines between moral and immoral practices. Mike will also hear something from his daughter-in-law Stacey (Kerry Condon) that will upset him.

The official synopsis for the episode reads:

"Jimmy's client outreach efforts succeed, and he exhibits new heights of showmanship; Mike is puzzled by Stacey's upsetting news."

Meanwhile, Jimmy's brother Chuck (Michael McKean) is still reluctant that he can do well in Davis and Main. This means that Jimmy must prove to him that he can be a big-shot lawyer just like him. Will Jimmy slowly turn into the scheming lawyer Saul Goodman that he is known for in 'Breaking Bad' in the next episodes of the spin-off series?

"Better Call Saul" season 2 episode 3 airs Monday, Feb. 29, on AMC.
