"Beauty and the Beast's "Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) were supposed to enjoy a blissful honeymoon after their wedding. But their plans were cut short.

In the premiere episode, the newlyweds were just enjoying the start of their married life when they learned from J.T. (Austin Basis) that somebody was plotting to reveal the identity of the beast in public. This will further endanger Vincent's life, but he and Cat must do everything that they can in order to stop the "beast hunter" from exposing the beasts.

While looking for the person in question, the couple found out that the season's newest villain hired the best assassins to hunt the beasts, and he is willing to pay as much as $5 million to get Vincent. However, the episode did not reveal the reason why the villain wants to capture the beasts.

While J.T. was willing to help their friends defeat the beast hunter, Cat's best friend Tess Vargas (Nina Lisandrello) showed reluctance in getting involved since they all agreed to try to move on from their past battles and live normal lives.

Meanwhile, the synopsis for episode 2, titled "Beast Interrupted" is already out, and it revealed that the newlyweds will continue their quest to look for the beast hunter. The synopsis for the episode reads:

"As Cat and Vincent hunt for a black market buyer searching for beasts, they have to protect an heiress whose identity was exposed. Cat and Vincent realize how much they have to lose if Vincent's true identity is revealed."

Since season 4 will be the last one for the sci-fi police procedural drama, actor Austin Basis told Enstarz that it will be a lot different from the previous ones.

"There's a sense of the final chapter being written that's gonna come through a lot of storylines. And the idea that the beast has not been discovered, that there is a beast living in the world among us, has not been discovered by someone with a random cell phone or security camera is now gonna be an aspect of the show, whether the exposure of our secret that we've been hiding for all these years will come to the public's knowledge," the actor stated.

The second episode of "Beauty and the Beast" season 4 airs on June 9 on The CW.
