Batman v Superman movie news: Latest plot update for the 2016 superhero film

Quite a lot of rumored scenes for the highly-anticipated 2016 movie "Batman versus Superman: Dawn of Justice" leaked online and are piling up rapidly, as the release date was moved from May 6, 2016 to an earlier March 25, 2016 schedule.

One of the reports posted by Batman-News claimed that Superman, portrayed by Henry Cavill, will be charged by the US government after the events that happened during the "Man of Steel" movie released in 2013, wherein the fictional city of Metropolis was completely destroyed after his action-packed battle with other creatures from Kypton.

The report said, "A major action scene was shot in July in one of the big studios in Detroit. Without giving too much away... it involves Superman and the United States Capitol building in Washington D.C." It also gave away other details, saying, "Superman will have to answer for what happened at the end of Man of Steel. Half the public blames him for all the death and destruction. If it wasn't for Superman being there, General Zod would have never come to Earth."

On the other hand, Screenrant posted that Batman's alter-ego Bruce Wayne, which is now being portrayed by Ben Affleck, will be seen in an MMA fighting ring. Though the real intention of why Gotham City's famous billionaire is visiting an underground MMA hideout is unrevealed in the spoiler, the article suggested that Wayne might be doing a little research at the arena.

In another update posted by The Telegraph UK, Cavill shared a picture of himself in Twitter wearing his Superman costume while on the Dawn of Justice set. Fans immediately noticed that the iconic Superman suit is a lot more colorful compared to the original promo images provided by director Zack Snyder. Still, the director could use an extra-dark filter when filming the movie to make the colors more subdued.

Aside from Affleck and Cavill, the "Batman versus Superman: Dawn of Justice" film will feature a stellar cast, including Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Clark Kent's mom Martha Kent, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Tao Okamoto, Callan Mulvey in an undisclosed role, as well as the Oscar winning actress Holly Hunter.
