Perhaps one of the biggest and most anticipated panels that will be held in Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center next weekend is the one hosted by Warner Bros. Pictures, since the cast and crew of "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will appear at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.
The film studio announced that film director Zack Snyder will be present to answer queries regarding the much talked-about superhero movie. He will be joined by Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot, who will portray the roles of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, respectively. The three legendary superheroes will share the big screen in just one film for the first time ever.
The "Batman v Superman" SDCC panel will take place on Saturday, July 11, at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time.
Other cast members who will join the panel include Amy Adams, who portrays the role of Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Superman's long-time nemesis Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Bruce Wayne's trusted butler Alfred Pennyworth, and Holly Hunter who will portray a new DC character made specifically for the film.
Aside from the cast appearance at the SDCC panel, Warner Bros. will also introduce the new line of action figures based on the film. These toys are manufactured by Mattel, which will sell a two-pack Batman and Superman action figure set that are both six-inches tall. Each pack costs $30.
Mattel will also sell special Hot Wheels Batmobile edition for $25, and a new Barbie line based on Wonder Woman will also be exhibited during the annual multi-genre and comic convention.
But before the San Diego Comic-Con begins, the special annual Comic-Con edition of the Entertainment Weekly features Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman on its cover. It includes several never-before-seen images from the film, as well as still images taken from the first "Batman v Superman" trailer. The special EW Comic-Con edition will hit the stand on Friday, July 3.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated for release on March 25, 2016.
