'Batman: The Telltale Series' news: release date of third episode confirmed for Oct.25

The episode 3 of "Batman: The Telltale Series" finally has a release date.

Telltale Games revealed the release date of the third installment of the episodic graphic adventure game during the latest edition of the in-game discussion series, "Batman Unmasked!"

The host of kindafunny.com, Greg Miller, sat down with "Batman: The Telltale Series" writer James Windeler, game director Kon Stauder, as well as the voice actor who plays Harvey Dent, Travis Willingham, to discuss the challenges featured in the previously released "Episode 2: Children of Arkham" before dropping the sneak peek for "Episode 3: New World Order."

According to the press release that was published on Telltale's official website, Episode 3 will show that the residents of Gotham City were shaken after the brutal attack of Penguin was broadcasted live on TV.

"And in the aftermath of the attack, Bruce's friend and Gotham's new mayor, Harvey Dent, is a deeply changed man," the press release also stated. It was also mentioned that Selina Kyle will also unveil her real persona to Bruce in the upcoming episode.

Also, the press release revealed that players must take on the role of Bruce/Batman to investigate the mysteries behind the Children of Arkham in the third episode.

Aside from Willingham, the episodes of "Batman: The Telltale Series" features the voices of Troy Baker as Bruce Wayne, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Bruce's trusted butler, Alfred Pennyworth, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, Murphy Guyer as Gotham City police officer James Gordon, as well as Laura Bailey as the mysterious Selina Kyle.

The "Episode 3: New World Order" of "The Batman: The Telltale Series" will be launched digitally on Oct. 25 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Those who are playing the game using PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will be able to get the new episode at a later date.
