Following DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's announcement on the release of the "Batman: Arkham Knight" Season Pass and Premium Edition last week, the details regarding the inclusions of the upcoming pass were revealed.

Earlier reports claimed that players were a bit skeptic about getting the season pass because of its high price, which happens to be one of the most expensive in the market today. But the details about its inclusions were not mentioned until now.

According to the game publisher, the $39.99 season pass will include:

The Season of Infamy –This will allow players to use Batman as their playable character in brand new story missions that features all the iconic super-villains that hound Gotham City. It will also have new story arcs, missions, as well as gameplay.

Gotham City Stories – This feature would allow players to use Batman's main allies in several narrative missions that features their individual storylines that happen before and after the events in "Batman: Arkham Knight."

Crimefighter Challenge Maps – Players can get into a series of added challenge maps that need the exceptional playing styles of Batman and his friends.

Legendary Batmobiles with Themed Tracks – Players who will purchase the season pass will be able to drive all the iconic Batmobiles that were released during the Caped Crusader's 75-year history. They can cruise through the custom-built race tracks designed according to the specific era of that particular Batmobile. Also, each one will be drivable across the entire new race track.

Character Skins – Batman, Robin, Catwoman, and Nightwing are given several skins across all their eras.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family – This is an all-new prequel expansion story located in an entirely different setting where players can assume the role of the Batgirl. This is the very first time that Batgirl can be played in the entire "Arkham" series.

More information about "Batman: Arkham Knight" is expected to come out soon.
