'Batman: Arkham Knight' DLC news: Tumbler Batmobile from 2008 to be released September

The Tumbler Batmobile from "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" will be added in "Batman: Arkham Knight" DLC for September.

Fresh from releasing the Batmobile Pack this week as part of the August contents for "Batman: Arkham Knight," Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and game developer Rocksteady Studios have announced what the upcoming contents for September will bring. 

Rocksteady has made a commitment to bring additional contents for the action adventure video game for six months, starting in June after the game was released. As part of this commitment, the game developer revealed what players should expect next month. It includes: 

  • Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #1 - Players should expect to receive six AR challenges intented for Batman, Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman. This downloadable challenge pack will support focused training that will be used in Freeflow Combat as well as Invisible Predator stealth incursion. The Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #1 is scheduled for release on Sept. 1.
  • GCPD Lockdown - Players can assume the role of Nightwing to prevent the Penguin from escaping the prison cell of the Gotham City Police department after the events that took place in Arkham Knight. It is slated to become available later in September.
  • 2008 Tumbler Batmobile Pack - Also coming in the later part of the month, players will be given the chance to upgrade their Batmobiles into the Tumbler Batmobile that was first seen in the 2008 movie titled "The Dark Knight." Using this type of Batmobile, players can race through two customized tracks.
  • Original Arkham Batman Skin - Players can start wearing the original Arkham Asylum Batman costume to wage war against the lawless in Gotham City beginning in the later part of September.

The exact release dates for the September DLCs except the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #1 have not yet been revealed, but they are expected to come out soon. 

Those who have purchased the Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass worth $39.99 can download all upcoming DLCs for free, but they can also be purchased individually for $1.99 each upon release.
