Things are getting more complicated in paradise!

In the second to the last episode of "Bachelor in Paradise," things got a little more out-of-this-world than normal. More drama unfolded this week as the remaining couples prepared for the grand finale.

Here is a rundown of the events that happened between the love-seeking guys and gals sent to the picturesque beach haven in Tulum, Mexico:

Cody and Michelle

Before the rose ceremony, Cody admitted to Michelle that he is already in love with her despite them only spending time with each other for just one day. He also told her that he wants his next girlfriend to be his wife. However, Michelle is not ready for this, which is why she asked Jesse for advice. Of course, schmuck Jesse reminded her that she is on the island just to have fun.

Jackie and Brooks

Newcomer Brooks invited Jackie for a date, and they had dinner in one of the restaurants in Tulum. In the middle of the meal, Brooks told Jackie that he couldn't concentrate on their conversation because he is so blown away by her cuteness. The two also played a game of foosball. Jackie won and Brooks liked her even more.

Christy and Jesse

After all the time that they have spent together, Christy finally realized that Jesse is a big jerk. Michelle told Christy that Jesse is boasting that he managed to hook up with her and Lucy last week and that he called her a dumb blonde. Jesse felt that Christy wasn't going to give him a rose that week, which is why he left the island and the show completely.

However, Christy, Michelle, and Lacy get off the hook easily. Just before driving away from the island, the three girls stopped his limo and confronted him for being a dirtbag.

Lacy and Marcus

The couple showed a lot of loving moments during this episode. Marcus already told Lacy that he loves her, yet she did not respond to his confession. During their date at a cave, Lacy finally said, "I love you," and gave him a rose during the ceremony.

Spoiler alert: Lacy and Marcus will get engaged in the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise!

The seventh and final episode of the first season of this hit dating reality show will air Sept. 8. on ABC.
