The "Avengers: Infinity Warfare" is a film that many superhero fans have been waiting to watch for so long now. With the trailer already being up, fans can only guess just how many characters will be featured in the film having featured all the past films. At least now, one actor gives an estimate of 76 characters for the film.

"The is one of the biggest things in film history and to be a part of it was just incredible," says Thor actor Chris Hemsworth in an interview with Postmedia Network. "I think what these characters are about to face — with Thanos — there's been nothing quite like it. There are 76 cast members or something like that."

Although this is not an exact number of characters in the film, it does give a good estimate. This also confirms, if some people are still doubting, that there will definitely be a lot of heroes and villains in this zenith of a movie. Geek Culture reports that previous guesses were at 67, which is still a big number.

The movie is going to be a directed by Joe and Anthony Russo who have the huge task of putting in all the references they can place from all the prior films. A huge number of characters and an equally huge number of storylines to acknowledge in the film will no doubt pose a challenge to making the film.

As for who the film will feature, there is a long list to mention and no one, besides the people in the production, knows the whole list. Aside from the main gang and the characters seen in the trailer, Thanos is sure to bring other characters too including Cull Obsidian, Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight and Ebony Maw.

"Avengers: Infinity War" will be in theaters everywhere by Apr. 27, 2018.
