'Avengers 4' cast spoilers: Casting call hints at Scarlet Witch and Vision's children

With the premiere of "Avengers: Infinity War" still pending, there is not much known yet about the plot of the franchise's fourth installment. However, a new casting call may have just revealed a major plot point fans will see when the movie premieres in 2019.

According to reports, the casting notice is looking for two-year-old twin boys who are available for two days of filming next month. Filming will take place in Peachtree City, Georgia, 30 minutes away from Atlanta where the majority of the "Avengers 4" scenes are shot. The casting is now speculated to be that of Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision's (Paul Bettany) children.

In the comics, the two Avengers got married and Wanda used her powers to impregnate herself. However, their parenthood was short-lived when it was revealed that their kids were apparitions fueled by the sorceress' subconscious, leading to the infamous "House of M" storyline.

It turns out, however, that the twins she magically created back then were reincarnated in the real world as real people and they grew up to be the Young Avengers, Wiccan and Speed.

It remains to be seen whether this would happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but if it does, it would not come as a surprise at all. There were foreshadowing nods to it since "Avengers: Age of Ultron," when Bettany's character, of all Avengers, swooped in to carry her to safety as Sokovia plummeted. Some minor flirtation between the two happened in "Civil War" as well when Vision was preparing dinner for Scarlet Witch. Although their relationship has not developed romantically yet, recent set photos showing them locking lips suggest it is about to.

Unfortunately, the casting call is by no means any confirmation, so fans should take this rumor with a healthy grain of salt. With Vision possessing the Mind Stone, there is a possibility he will die in the hands of Thanos (Josh Brolin). In that case, their children may only be a part of Wanda's imagination.

As usual, fans can only speculate for now. "Avengers 4" will not open in theaters until May 4, 2018.
