After the shocking revelations in the past two episodes of "Attack on Titan" season 2, it is said the upcoming episode 8 of the popular anime will feature the death of a Survey Corps soldier and another losing his arm.

With the reveal on the show's episode 6 that Reiner and Bertolt are actually titans, many "Attack on Titan" fans who have not read the manga counterpart of the anime series were left in shock. However, when the anime's episode 7 was aired last Saturday, the shock was replaced with excitement as Eren, in his Titan form, finally battled it out with his two former comrades.

As Bertolt (as Colossal Titan) and Reiner (as Armored Titan) joined forces in defeating Eren and abducting him and Ymir in the recently concluded episode, rumors claim that the upcoming episode 8 (episode 33 counting the season 1 episodes) will feature the Survey Corps heading toward the Titan forest to save their friends. However, rescuing Eren and Ymir will be no easy task as it is said that Bertolt and Reiner will deal with them in the two's respective Titan forms. According to rumors, many soldiers will die, including Hannes, and Captain Erwin Smith will also lose an arm during the encounter.

Meanwhile, it is already a known fact that the Titans featured in the "Attack on Titan" mythos have their own special abilities. To the uninitiated, while Reiner's skin can harden and Bertolt can steam and achieve a monstrous height, Annie and Beast Titan have the ability to control the mindless Titans. As the anime has yet to show Eren's special abilities, it is speculated that the next or future episodes will finally reveal what they are.

Will Hannes really die on the next episode of the anime series? Will Ymir really swallow Historia? What special abilities of Eren will be revealed?

Find out when "Attack on Titan" season 2 episode 8 airs this May 20 at 10:30 am Eastern Time.
