"Attack on Titan 2" is Omega Force and Koei Tecmo's upcoming sequel to the previous game "Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom." Koei Tecmo, the game's publisher, recently released a trailer that shows what players can expect for the upcoming sequel.

One of the main complaints by fans about the first game is the lack of diversity and intricacy in the combat system. However, the latest trailer for the upcoming anime-based game showed that Omega Force has learned from this mistake by introducing the enhanced "omni-directional mobility" action.

The new action feature is a double-edged sword for players. It basically grants the player with more freedom in the use of the "3D Maneuver Gear," which makes combat more free-flowing. With that freedom, players can either have a harder time dealing with titans or end up utilizing it to sever multiple titans at once.

Other features along with this are the "hook drives" and "sneak attacks." The hook drive allows players to evade an upcoming titan attack while simultaneously countering it with a lethal blow. Meanwhile, the sneak attack makes use of the game's new scoping mechanism to scout titans from afar, allowing players to position themselves for an effective attack.

Another update is the "buddy action," which is an assist mechanic that lets you restock supplies and get saved when cornered by a titan. The buddy action paired with a "capture titan" missions will allow players to develop a deeper relationship with squadmates, as teamwork is everything in this game.

As for the Titans, combat and movement are enhanced as well. Eren Jaeger, the main character of the series, looks to have a better titan transformation. Ymir's small but agile "Jaw Titan" will also debut in the game.

All of these will be utilized by the player as the game will revolve around the second half of the anime series. As such, the game will boast new characters and titans, including the infamous boulder-hurling "Beast Titan."

"Attack on Titan 2" will be available in select retail stores worldwide for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC on Tuesday, March 20. It will also make a debut for the Nintendo Switch on the same day.
