"Arrow" went on a hiatus, but the consolation is that the show will deliver a return episode that is well worth the wait. Spoilers for season 6 episode 16 suggest that a lot of exciting things are going to happen on the show's return, not the least of which is the reappearance of Nyssa al Ghul in Star City.

Nyssa was the heiress of the "Demon," Ra's al Ghul. Well, that was until Malcolm was revealed to be Ra's and Thea was revealed to be the true heiress to the Demon.

Malcolm was long gone, and Thea has been earning her keep in Team Arrow for quite some time now as a fellow bringer of justice. And yet along with Nyssa's return, the past will come to haunt them again.

Apparently, Nyssa returned to the city to warn Thea of a splinter cell in the League of Assassins. These former members of the League have gone rogue, and they are intent on finding Thea. Their target: a mysterious box supposedly hidden by Malcolm somewhere, while he was still alive.

Whether or not Thea has an idea about where she can find the box or what it contains, nothing can seem to stop the rogue faction from tracking her down. According to Nyssa's warning, the assassins are led by a woman named Athena.

Of course, Oliver Queen steps in to work with the team. A teaser trailer shows that Team Arrow will be forced to fight against the group of assassins.

In any case, the aftermath of the battle can really change the direction of the show's current plot. The synopsis for season 6, episode 16 hints at this, too. "Nyssa comes to Star City to warn of an impending danger that will threaten everything we know and love," it said.

Catch "Arrow" as it resumes airing on the CW on March 29, 9 p.m. Eastern Time (ET).
