"Arrow" season 6 saw how the once powerful and united Team Arrow divided into two factions. Nevertheless, Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) himself wants to make sure that the group will be brought back together, especially at this very moment that the Star City is on the brink of destruction. Episode 13 will reveal more about the season's big bad, Cayden James (Michael Emerson), and his latest ploy to bring down Oliver and the entire Star City.
According to the latest spoilers, Team Arrow will remain divided in season 13 episode 13, titled "The Devil's Greatest Trick." It appears that Cayden James has more tricks up his sleeves, seeing to it that Oliver will have no allies by his side by the time he launches an all-out assault on Star City.
The previous episode showed a glimmer of hope that the Original Team Arrow and New Team Arrow will be reunited. It became clear to everyone that Cayden James will soon turn all of Star City into ashes, and the two groups worked together to save the people from the villain's evil plans. At one point, Oliver seemingly gave in to Cayden's demand of paying him $10 million a day just for the latter to give up the control of Star City. Cayden is never to be trusted, however, as his vast knowledge of computers always gives him ways to destroy the city, even with millions already being wired to his bank account.
This time around, Cayden is threatening Team Arrow with a giant bomb powerful enough to kill everyone inside the city. While it gave the group a reason to stick together, Cayden's threat ultimately made the Team Arrow members turn against each other. Oliver and Dinah Drake (Katie Cassidy) were even involved in a square-off as they argued on how to stop Cayden's bomb from going off.
In "Arrow" season 6 episode 13, Oliver will see himself alone following the previous events. This will give Cayden an opportunity to destroy Star City, but Oliver will be pushed to his limits to save everyone, even if it means to ask help from his former teammates.
"Arrow" season 6 episode 13 will air on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 9 p.m. EST on the CW.
