While waiting for the return of "Arrow" season 3 after its brief hiatus, fans are looking for more news about what the show has in store for them for the rest of the season.

For one, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) contemplates on Ra's al Ghul's (Matt Nable) proposal for him to become the next leader of the League of Assassins. This comes while he fights off the bad elements that come to destroy the peace in Starling City. But the season will return with other unexpected twists along the way. One of them is the unforeseen bond between Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) and Ra's al Ghul's daughter Nyssa (Katrina Law).

The two unlikely friends are speculated to device a plot to kill Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) if Ra's will not do the job. Both fierce ladies seem to develop an unexpected friendship because of their own daddy issues. Laurel finally found out from her dad Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) the real reason why her sister Sara (Caity Lotz) died, while Nyssa still cannot believe that her father gave her birthright of becoming the next leader of the League of Assassins to someone else.

In the coming episodes, Laurel and Nyssa will do everything that they can to defeat Malcolm.

Meanwhile, the official episode synopsis for "Arrow" season 3 episode 17 says:

"It's celebration time as Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) get married. However, Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe) interrupts their honeymoon and tells them the Suicide Squad has been given a new mission – rescue United States Senator Joseph Cray (guest star Steven Culp) from a hostage situation in the Republic of Kasnia. Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) breaks down the mission and introduces them to the newest member of the Suicide Squad, Cupid (guest star Amy Gumenick). Meanwhile, Oliver learns about Ray's (Brandon Routh) new Atom costume and the two have a heated stand-off. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray hit a rough patch."

The next episode of "Arrow" season 3 is slated to air on March 18.
