The highly anticipated wedding between Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) will finally happen in the next episode of "Arrow" season 4. But will the couple really have their happily-ever-after?

Speculations about the wedding began when executive producer Marc Guggenheim posted a photo of the couple on Twitter taken at the altar. He also clarified that the scene is "Not a dream sequence. Not a hallucination. Not an alternate reality. Not a flash forward to a potential future."

Fans were thrilled to finally see them walk down the aisle, especially after Felicity decided to end her relationship with Oliver during the previous episode, when she learned that he was keeping a lot of secrets from her, including his son William (Jack Moore).

But according to the synopsis for the episode, titled "Broken Hearts" and where the scene will be shown, the wedding between the lovers will have a different purpose.

The official synopsis for the episode reads:

"A heartbroken Cupid (guest star Amy Gumenick) returns to Star City with one goal -- to destroy anyone in love. The team learns she's killing couples on their wedding day so Oliver and Felicity decide to pose as bait."

This means that the supposed romantic event between Oliver and Felicity will just be a show. But will the couple still manage to fix their relationship anytime soon?

However, it seems like Felicity will have a lot on her mind aside from her broken engagement with the Green Arrow, this after a teaser of a flash forward episode showed a mysterious grave was released. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Rickards revealed that the person in the grave is an important person in her character's life.

"I think that it's someone closer to Felicity," Rickards revealed. "I always thought it would be somebody closer to Felicity. I just think that it's probably going to hurt everyone a lot, like a lot."

"Arrow" season 4 episode 16 returns on The CW on Wednesday, March 23.
