Talks about the release of Apple's next-generation wearable device are starting to appear on various news sites, fueling speculations about the upcoming release of the Apple Watch 2.

Just recently, a concept photo of the upcoming Apple Watch 2 was unveiled by German designer Eric Huismann, which was exclusively posted on the Dutch website Handy Abovergleich.

The concept design features a sleeker, thinner Apple Watch. It is equipped with smaller bezels and OLED screen to provide an overall larger display. Huismann also designed the concept Apple smartwatch with brighter screen to provide better visibility when used in various lighting conditions.

The German designer also came up with a variety of sizes so that consumers can choose which one fits their needs.

Other suggested features for the Apple Watch 2 based on Huismann's design includes an integrated 1.2-MP FaceTime camera, waterproof casing, GPS module, as well as an advanced WiFi capability.

Meanwhile, Alphr posted several suggestions gathered from some gadget analysts regarding the improvements needed to be seen in Apple's next wearable device.

According to the report, Apple Watch 2 needs to present itself as a game-changing device in order to lead the emerging smartwatch market. One of the suggestions mentioned is that the Cupertino developers should make the next Apple Watch more independent from other paired devices like the iPhones.

At the moment, the Apple Watch is dependent on a tethered iPhone to function. That is why the analysts believe that an independent Apple Watch 2 would be the tech firm's way of showing their consumers that they value their opinions to make a standalone wearable device just like what Samsung did with its Samsung Gear S.

But while Apple has yet to reveal the definite release date of Apple Watch 2, Realty Today speculates that the wearable device will come out sometime in 2016.
