According to Mobi Picker, the South Korean mobile manufacturing started to test the latest mobile operating system on the said devices, and they are aiming to roll out the update during the early months of 2017.

There are also reports claiming that Samsung is planning to incorporate the Android 7.0 Nougat to their newest lineup of flagship products, including the Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge before 2016 ends.

Devices that will run using the Android 7.0 Nougat will have the split-screen display mode, where two apps can run simultaneously in the other half of the screen.

The new Android 7.0 Nougat, which came out on Aug. 22, also comes with a revised notification feature showing smaller icons.

The first devices which featured the new Android 7.0 Nougat include Google's Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Pixel C, and General Mobile 4G. Other mobile manufacturers will also roll out the new Android update in the future, including HTC and LG.
