Good news for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 owners as the long-awaited Android 7.0 Nougat update is finally happening.

It was at the early part of this month when Samsung started releasing the Android 7.0 Nougat to the Galaxy Tab S2 in some regions. Finally, after weeks of waiting, the long-awaited update has finally reached the U.S. and is being rolled out over the air.

According to reports, owners of the 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab S2 will receive the build number T810XXU2DQCL, while those who own the 8-inch Tab S2 will receive the build number T710XXU2DQCL. However, as the size of the update is big, 852 MB to be specific, users are advised to have their respective devices fully charged before downloading it and make sure they have a stable WiFi connection.

Once the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 has been fully updated with the Android 7.0 Nougat, owners of the tablet can expect their devices to come with a new UX and a few new other features. Some of these are improved notification feature, Quick Settings button, split window mode, and efficient space for installation of downloaded apps.

With the Android Nougat 7.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 finally arriving in the United States, it goes without saying that more and more devices are now enjoying the latest operating system. As of this writing, a good array of Samsung smartphones and tablets, such as the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy A3, and Galaxy A8 already run on the said operating system apart from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

Moreover, aside from Samsung, OnePlus, HTC, ZTE, and Motorola have also released a list of their respective devices that have been updated (or will be updated) with the Android Nougat 7.0.
