"American Idol" is back and so are the spoilers. Just hours after the show's official return, a reported list of this season's top 24 already made its way online.

The latest spoilers, courtesy of longtime "American Idol" insider MJ's Big Blog, reveal there are 12 females and 12 males who made it to the list. However, the number is said to be whittled down further before the live show kicks off.

Among the reported female contenders are Alyssa Raghunandan, Amelia Harris, Catie Turner, and Effie Passero. Gabby Barret, Jurnee Siani, and Kay Kay Alexis have also made the cut alongside Layla Spring, Maddie Poppe, Mara Justine, Michelle Sussett, and Shannon O'Hara.

For the male group, there is Adam Sanders, Brandon Diaz, Cade Foehner, Caleb Hutchinson, and Dennis Lorenzon. The list also reportedly includes Garret Jacobs, Johnny Brenns, Michael Woodard, Ron Bultongez, Marcio Donaldson, Trevor McBane, and Dominique Posey.

"American Idol" is onto its second episode tonight. The Idol Pad's tentative schedule says the next four episodes will feature auditions, with next Sunday's (March 18) episode featuring ones from New Orleans, Savannah, New York, and Los Angeles. The auditions will be followed by Hollywood week on March 26 and April 2, and the Showcase Round/Green Mile (Top 50) on April 2.

"American Idol" then kicks off its semi-finals with the aforementioned Top 24 singing their solo performances and celebrity duets on the following weekends before the Top 14 is chosen on April 22. The live finals will follow until May 13 and the season will conclude with a two-episode grand finale on May 20 and May 21.

Note that none of the information stated above is official yet and the schedule is subject to change, so fans should take the spoilers with a grain of salt.

"American Idol" season 16 airs Sundays and Mondays, 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC.
